John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition, 22nd Edition (2023/2024)

Elisa Lunardon and Sophie Martin, two double-degree students, achieved an excellent second place at the second regional preliminary round in Europe in Lisbon. Sophie Martin even received the Award for Best Final Oralist. We warmly congratulate them both on this impressive success!

As a reward, our team will take part in the Grand Final, which traditionally takes place at the WTO headquarters in Geneva in June. The best 24 teams from all five continents will meet there.

Elisa Lunardon and Sophie Martin are coached by Aliénor Nina Burghartz, an employee and doctoral student at the Institute for International Law at the UZH. Johannes Rohrmann, an employee at the Institute for International Law, also closely accompanied the team. They also deserve a big thank you.
