In his research, Prof. Oesch focuses on the following areas:
Public commercial law (especially foreign trade law)
- Bilateral relationship between Switzerland and the EU
- European law (in particular constitutional law and institutional law, internal market law and foreign trade law, protection of fundamental rights)
- International economic law
