Monitoring Program at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia

Since March 2009 the Institute for International Law is participating in a monitoring program consisting in the observation of the UN supported special tribunals in Cambodia in collaboration with the War Crimes Studies Center of the University of Berkeley. The first trial started in March 2009. Since then three legal practitioners from the University of Zurich have gone to Cambodia to monitor proceedings.
