Severin Meier holds a master’s degree (Magister Juris) from the University of Oxford and an LL.M. in Public International Law from Leiden University. Previously, he studied International Relations at the University of Geneva. Between his studies, he interned at Swissnex Singapore and at the Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations in New York. Additionally, he worked for one year at the Swiss Representation to the UN specialized agencies (FAO, WFP, IFAD) in Rome. Since 2016, he has been pursuing doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Oliver Diggelmann. Severin Meier’s research focus is on structures of argumentation in Public International Law.
